My name is Chris Jaeger and welcome to Canada First Mortgage!

I grew up on an acreage in rural Minnesota and have learned the value of a strong work ethic.  As a teenager, I not only worked on the family acreage, but also worked for farmers in the area during the fall harvest…when there was more work to be done, than there were hours in the day.  Hard work enabled the crops to be brought in on time and a well-earned paycheque at the end of the harvest season.  

During the summer months, I was fortunate to live with my grandparents at their lake home where I owned and operated a lawn care and painting business.  The long hours and hard work during the day always had its rewards when it came time to enjoy the fishing and lake activities in the evenings. 

I met my wife in 1993 at a convention in Rapid City, South Dakota.  In 1994, I graduated from North Dakota State University with my Bachelor of Science Degree, majoring in Business Management.  By 1995, I had moved to Canada to start a new life with my “Canadian Girl”.  Now, as a husband and father of 2 lovely daughters, I appreciate how valuable our time is, as well as each and every dollar we work so hard to make.  And in our current economy, every dollar saved, is both a goal and a necessity!
